Do the EDZ all season base layers get smelly?
Some base layers can get really smelly after a short while. The EDZ sports base layer / undersuit fabric has a natural anti bacterial action and are pretty good in the odour department but like any item of clothing worn next to the skin a regular rinse out is a good idea and they are really easy to wash and dry out quickly.
What are the all season base layers / undersuits like for washing?
Wash as for polyester @ max 40 degrees C, avoid hot tumble driers. These wash and rinse out really easily & will be practically dry when they come out from the spin cycle. For travelling / touring; at night rinse then hang out to dry & by morning they should be ready wear.
Are the all season base layer / undersuits suitable for winter use?
These can been worn as a winter thermal as well as a summer base.
How warm are the EDZ base layers?
EDZ all season base layers are made from a light performance a mesh fabric and in cold conditions these small spaces trap warm air next to the skin and keep you warm. This gives the sports base layer relatively high thermal insulation for the weight and thickness of the fabric.
